Product Overview

The True THAC-36-HC-LD is a 36-1/8" horizontal air curtain merchandiser for grab-and-go service. There is no door between the customer and the product, which is the whole point — impulse sales rise when nothing has to be opened — and a curtain of chilled air across the opening holds the case at 35°F to 40°F.

LED lighting runs the full height of the case so product on the bottom shelf is as visible as product at eye level. The shelves are adjustable, so the same case merchandises tall bottles on one row and packaged sandwiches on the next.

The self-contained refrigeration system is sized for the heat load an open case carries, which is substantially higher than a closed door cabinet. The condensing unit is reachable for routine service without pulling the case out of the lineup.
