Product Overview

The Vulcan MSA36-101 is a 36" heavy-duty gas griddle from the MSA series, built around a 1" thick polished steel plate and 3 burners rated 27,000 BTU/hr each for 81,000 BTU/hr total.

Temperature is held by embedded snap-action thermostats — one per burner section — so the plate recovers to the set point instead of drifting while a cook works through a rush. That makes it the right choice for eggs, pancakes and anything else where plate temperature decides the result. A supervised pilot safety valve shuts the gas off if the pilot goes out.

The chassis is fully welded stainless and aluminized steel with a cool bull nose front rail, and a large 6-quart stainless grease drawer pulls out from the front. Heavy-duty chromed knob guards protect the thermostat dials on a busy line, and the griddle accepts the Vulcan Clamshell and the optional Rapid Recovery plate.
