Product Overview
The Vulcan VHFA18-1M3ZN is a non-insulated electric heated holding cabinet taking 18 sheet pans, with a full-size glass door and two 1,000 W heating elements for 2000 W total at 120V.
Non-insulated means this cabinet is built to hold product in a kitchen, not to transport it — which is why it costs considerably less than an insulated transport cabinet of the same capacity. If the cabinet stays plugged in on the line, the insulation is paying for nothing.
A blower and air tunnel move heat evenly through the stack rather than letting the top shelf run hotter than the bottom. The glass door lets staff see the load without opening it and the hinges are reversible. The dial thermostat adjusts up to 190°F from a top-mounted recessed control panel, tray slides are fixed on 3" centers, and the cabinet rolls on four 5" casters, two with locks.
