Product Overview

The Vulcan VC5GD-11D1Z is a full-size single deck gas convection oven from the VC5 series, with a 29" W x 22-1/8" D x 20" H cavity and an 11-position rack guide. Gas input is 50,000 BTU/hr.

A convection oven moves air across the product instead of relying on radiant heat, which is why it bakes and roasts faster and more evenly than a standard oven and why most kitchens that add one stop using the range oven for volume work. Five racks on an 11-position guide give real flexibility in how a load is stacked.

The VC5 is Vulcan's newer convection oven platform. Its doors lift off without tools and go through a dishwasher, which is the single biggest difference in day to day cleaning compared with a fixed-door oven. An LED time and temperature display, a gentle bake mode selector and built-in diagnostics round out the control panel.
