The Centaur model CSD-1DF-BAL-HC reach-in freezer is designed for heavy-duty commercial kitchen environments. Built with a unibody construction featuring foamed sides from top to bottom and high-efficiency, CFC-free polyurethane insulation, it delivers exceptional temperature retention.
The exterior features a rugged stainless steel front, sides, and top, complemented by a white aluminum interior and door liner.
Equipped with a Dixell solid-state controller with a digital display, this unit is easily programmable and self-diagnostic. The bottom-mount condensing unit utilizes a capillary tube system running on environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain an optimal temperature range of 0° to 4°F. Coated aluminum and copper coils, paired with a condensate heater featuring an integral hot gas refrigerant line built into the pan, ensure long-term durability. The single left-hinged door features a foam-in-place heater wire, a full-length stainless handle, and is field reversible. For user convenience, the self-closing door remains open past 90 degrees and closes automatically at less than 90 degrees. Inside, the freezer is illuminated by interior LED lights and includes three heavy-duty, PVC-coated wire shelves with stand-offs to provide excellent air flow. Factory-mounted casters are included for seamless mobility.
