Product Overview

The Vulcan LG500-1 is a single-vat gas floor fryer from the LG Core series, holding 65-70 lb of oil at 150,000 BTU/hr. It is the value-priced entry in Vulcan's gas fryer line.

The vat has a large cold zone — the cooler area below the burners where crumb settles out of the circulating oil instead of burning in it. That is the single biggest factor in how long a batch of oil lasts, and on a fryer at this price point it matters more than anything on the spec sheet.

The fry tank and front are stainless steel with a stainless reinforced door and G90 galvanized sides and back. A 1-1/4" ball type drain valve empties the vat, and the fryer needs no electrical hookup at all. It stands on four adjustable nickel-plated legs.
