Product Overview

The Vulcan SX36-6BN is a 36" SX Core series natural gas range with 6 open-top burners rated 28,000 BTU/hr each and a standard oven base. Total input is 198,000 BTU/hr.

The SX series is Vulcan's value line: the same open-burner layout and oven configuration as the heavier Endurance ranges, at 28,000 BTU per burner instead of 30,000 and a lighter frame. For an operation that needs a dependable six-burner range rather than the heaviest one available, it is the right economics.

Burner heads lift off for cleaning and a shrouded flash tube pilot system lights them from one pilot. The oven thermostat adjusts from 250°F to 500°F, the front, sides and backriser are stainless steel, and 12" x 12" cast top grates with aeration bowls handle heavy stockpots. The range stands on 6" adjustable stainless legs.
