The True TUC-48D-2-HC is a 48-3/8" undercounter unit that slides under a standard work surface without giving up commercial-grade refrigeration. The self-contained, factory-balanced capillary tube system runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant — zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of 0.02 — and holds 33°F to 38°F throughout the cabinet.
The drawer system is where this unit earns its place on a line. Each drawer rolls on heavy-duty slides rated for constant service and seals against a magnetic gasket, so cold air stays in the cabinet during a rush instead of spilling out every time a cook reaches for product.
The exterior is stainless steel on the front, top and ends with a GalFan-coated steel back, and the interior is a clear-coated aluminum liner with a stainless steel floor and coved corners. The condensing unit is reached from the back on a slide-out mount, so routine maintenance does not mean pulling the cabinet out of the line.
