Product Overview
The Vulcan C24EA3-1100 PLUS is a 3 pan electric countertop convection steamer from the C24EA PLUS series, rated 8.5 kW, with a patent-pending high-efficiency steam generator.
The PLUS controls are what separate this from a basic steamer. Smart Fill brings the generator up to steam fast from a cold start, and SmartDrain with PowerFlush cycles water through to carry scale out instead of letting it build on the element. Scale is what kills generator steamers, so a unit that manages it is a unit that stays in service.
A 60-minute timer with a buzzer runs the cycle and a constant steam setting covers longer cooks. The exterior and cooking compartment are stainless steel with coved interior corners, a lighted power switch carries cook and ready lights, and an external de-lime port lets the kitchen descale without opening the cabinet.
