Product Overview
The Vulcan C24EO5-1 is a 5 pan boilerless electric countertop convection steamer rated 12 kW. It needs no water line and no drain connection.
Boilerless is the whole argument for this unit. A conventional steamer needs a plumbed water supply, a drain and regular descaling of a boiler; this one is filled by hand and emptied by hand, which means it can go anywhere there is an outlet and there is no boiler to scale up. For a kitchen in a leased space or one that steams in batches rather than all day, that removes both the install cost and the biggest maintenance item.
Construction is 14-gauge 301 stainless steel with internal metallic foil insulation and coved interior corners. A manual 60-minute timer with a buzzer runs the cycle, a constant steam setting handles longer items, and a low-water light and audible signal warn before the pan runs dry. The door is heavy duty with a positive-close latch. ENERGY STAR rated.
