Product Overview
The Vulcan 36IRB-N is a 36" gas salamander broiler using ceramic infrared burners, rated 30,000 BTU/hr. It mounts on a range backriser, on a wall, or on a counter.
Infrared ceramic burners reach broiling temperature in well under a minute and put out a very hot, very even radiant face — the rack sees 250°F to 800°F depending on position. For finishing, melting and browning to order that speed is the whole point: the salamander is ready when the ticket comes in rather than held hot all service.
Dual heat controls split the broiler into two zones, so one side can hold while the other browns. The rack adjusts with a cool-to-the-touch handle, a full-width spillage pan slides out for cleaning, and the front, top and sides are stainless steel. Ignition is a standing pilot.
